When consumers buy used devices from CompAsia Thailand, fewer new products are produced and end up in landfills. Our circular model helps divert hundreds of tons of hazardous e-waste from polluting our soil, air and water.

By avoiding the disposal of millions of devices, we also reduce the release of hazardous substances into our ecosystems, such as lead, mercury, and cadmium, which are commonly found in discarded electronic devices and can leach into waterways and agricultural areas.

Refurbishing and reusing equipment significantly reduces carbon emissions. Our 3 million transactions prevented 270,000 metric tons of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere, which is the same impact as taking 58,000 cars off the road for a year.
⚡ Energy savings of 1.5 billion kilowatt hours
Producing new electronic devices requires enormous amounts of energy. By bringing existing devices back to market, CompAsia has saved approximately 1.5 billion kilowatt hours (kWh) of energy – enough to power 140,000 homes for a year.
